About Balaji Heart Hospital and Diagnostic Center:
Balaji Heart Hospital and Diagnostic Center stands for Congenital heart defects and for Children Against Cancer. We are a group of certified medical professionals and dedicated philanthropist volunteers, on a mission to fight childhood cancer and patients with CHD to provide such children and their families with all the care, support, and money they need to fight this disease.

Children with cancer can be cured up to 85% of the time with early detection and therapy. So, children with CONGENITAL HEART DEFECTS as annually 1.8 million children are born with CHD in India but due to budgetary limits and medicine shortages, one of the major issues facing such families in India is the lack of access to competent medical treatment.

Balaji Heart Hospital and Diagnostic Center help all these children and their families, but only with your support.

We treat, care, serve and help children with cancer and CHD patients at Balaji Heart Hospital and Diagnostic Center, and we support children of all ages up to 18 years old. We ensure that children receive the finest medical treatment possible, as well as providing psychological and financial assistance to both children and their families.

How do we do this?
We work closely with Balaji Heart Hospital & Diagnostic Centre”, which organizes health camps in educational institutes and rural areas with our own 15 city centres across Maharashtra. We have a network of doctors and volunteers; who identify economically challenged children suffering from Congenital Heart Defects and Cancer who desperately need surgery. After identifying the needy children, we bring them to “Balaji Heart Hospital & Diagnostic Centre”, Mumbai. Then do Diagnosis, surgery, and medication under the supervision of a pediatric cardiologist. After the surgery and treatment, both pre and post-care care is done under the supervision of our team of skilled doctors and therapists till they are completely cured to continue a normal healthy life. Since 2016, Balaji Heart Hospital and Diagnostic Center have helped over 500 children, and we continue to do so.

So, Balaji Heart Hospital and Diagnostic Center provides Hope Lodge to the families of remote and rural areas patients who are undergoing treatment at Balaji Heart Hospital & Diagnostic Centre”.

Affordability of CHD Treatment:
Without governmental (or humanitarian) support, the treatment of CHD is unaffordable for Low- and Middle-Income Families. The cost of treatment is high and every time patient's family has to sell all their assets but still can’t afford the treatment. And it’s the bare fact that the cardiologists, do numerous required tests to identify the diagnosis and confirm the type of intervention. Such as echocardiogram, electrocardiogram, or diagnostic cardiac catheterization, which costs patients; which is a must. Such patient families who cannot afford the treatment will either accept their fate or attempt to raise some money. However, the money raised always falls short or is too late. In the rare instance if any such patient families afford to pay for treatment but become bankrupt.
